"My son and I went for his consultation yesterday with Dr. Hardison in Murfreesboro. We live in Smyrna but wanted to do the consult in Murfreesboro since my son was out of school and Dr. Hardison was in Murfreesboro yesterday. What a great experience! I was so grateful that Paige made my son and I both feel very comfortable from the beginning. My son is a teenager and would never tell you he was nervous, but he was. She was so very friendly and happy to answer any and all questions we both had. Dr. Hardison was exactly what we needed. Excellent bedside manner and also willing to answer any and all questions. I feel so relieved that even before my son's procedure, we feel comfortable with what will happen. I would recommend Dr. Hardison to anyone that is looking for an excellent oral surgeon who will go above and beyond for his patients. "Dr. Martin did an incredible job with my extractions. I didn’t even have any swelling in my jaws after 8 extractions, including 3 wisdom teeth. I have minimal pain in my gums and I have only taken 1 Ibuprofen 800 since yesterday. I might be a rare case, but I would recommend Middle Tennessee Oral & Implant for any oral surgery, because their service is the crème de la crème."

"Today, I had two wisdom teeth extracted. The entire experience was smooth and much better than I could have expected. The entire team was kind and supportive. I have only taken one ibuprofen! I prepared myself mentally to be in pain and off from work until Tuesday. I don’t know what kind of magic was done but I am pleasantly surprised and grateful. I’m still keeping my day off though lol! Before the implant procedure began I had all medication I might need in hand.. nothing worse than having to go to a pharmacy after the fact! Secondly no waiting ..thirdly .. I have spent my fair share of time in the dentist chair dreading pain and experiencing it..not so in this office.. amazing anesthetics and truly I felt nothing ..and most amazingly despite drilling into my jawbone and screwing a post into it ..no pain after! "Tooth implant surgery. I broke my tooth some time ago and I procrastinated because it was not an emergency. My regular dentist recommended Dr. Warden and I couldn’t be more pleased. Dr. Warden and staff have been wonderful. Clear explanations and communications throughout the process. The procedure was not pain free, of course, but was a lot less than my expectations. I only needed Ibuprofen for the first couple of days after the extraction and buildup. I highly recommend Dr. Warden and Middle Tennessee Oral & Implant Surgery!"

"They brought me to a room to go over some stuff and asked me to watch a video about wisdom teeth removal. Once I was sat in the chair, they did an IV, did blood pressure. Once Dr Mark Hardison was in, I was put to sleep immediately and before I knew it, I was in a wheelchair with some gauze in my mouth and ready to go home. The procedure did not take him long to do. I was in and out. I can honestly say, there is very little pain and this is my 2nd day of having my wisdom teeth out! Definitely recommend going here!"

"I know I’m not the only person to say I dislike going to the dentist, much less an oral surgeon! But this experience was so quick and easy! Yes! At the oral surgeon! I needed a tooth extraction and to say it was a pleasure is not an exaggeration. I arrived at 9 am, was taken back quickly and was in my car heading home within an hour! Not driving of course! I honestly don’t even remember having a last thought before going under. The doctor came in to do the procedure and then the next thing I know I was being helped to a wheel chair! Dr. Hardison listened to my concerns, as I was nervous this time since I had a bad experience with another dentist who had done my bottom wisdom teeth removal many years ago. (I highly recommend seeing an oral surgeon for this procedure, btw.) I was also nervous about the IV sedation, but it went great. I was actually playing piano later that day because I felt good. "HUGE!!! Thumbs up to Dr.Warden and his amazing office staff. I was like any normal person super nervous and anxious but they were able to smooth me and comfort my every need and question. The day of the surgery was very pleasant and above all my comfort was put first the nurse’s were joking with me and keeping my stress down. They wheeled me out to my girlfriends car and told her how to go about helping me care for my extraction sites and even wrote it down along with the packet given for general knowledge. The service with this staff was above and beyond I would highly recommend anyone looking to get work done here! His regular dentist was going to make him wait 2 months to pull it. Layla, is the first person I came into contact with, I told her the issue and she got us in the same day…in 2 hours! While they are not pediatric dentists, they were all WONDERFUL with my baby boy. My son has never had any work done and I was so nervous. Layla, Leslie & Paige took such good care of him, they were rubbing his arms and legs while he was getting his laughing gas, they treated him like they were working on their own kids. When it was time to do the IV they handled it PERFECTLY. They made sure my baby was as comfortable as possible the entire time. I am so grateful for this team. "NEW UPDATE: I was seen first thing today by Dr. Hardison. It was a night and day difference between the doctors. He compassionately listened to my problems, did a thorough exam (with gloves), had an idea as to what is causing my pain, and was willing to work with me to find a solution. I now have a plan in place and a follow up appointment scheduled to see if it's working or whether we need to try something else. I would recommend seeing Dr. Hardison if you come to Middle TN Oral & Implant Surgery. UPDATE: The office called within 30 minutes of posting my review, offering to get me in to see the original Dr. who was on my referral. I will update my review after that appointment. 10/10 to the office staff who provided exemplary customer service. I have raised my rating based on the office staff alone. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have no complaints about the office staff or the dental assistants. I was originally referred to a particular Dr. at the Smryna office, but they were unable to see me until January. I was instead scheduled for the first opening for a patient consult which happened to be in Murfreesboro with Dr. Paul Warden. He spent a total of two minutes with me, barely glanced at the scans, and was insensitive and dismissive. When I explained what was going on he decided to look in my mouth with a disposable mirror, WITHOUT GLOVES ON, from an arms length away. My problem was at the very back of my mouth, and I have a very small mouth. How could he see anything from that distance away? He then proceeded to scrape at the area with the mirror and asked if that was what I was talking about. I had no mirror to see what he was actually doing, and I was greatly concerned about having gloveless hands right next to my mouth. He completely dismissed me, my symptoms and my dentist (who I trust a great deal). It would have been one thing if he had taken the time to safely and thoroughly inspect the area in question before dismissing it as nothing (I respect the profession and would trust their opinion), but that was not the case. He spent a total of 2 minutes, was completely unprofessional, and hygienically unsafe. I left that appointment with the area in question hurting from his "exam"."

"Yesterday I had four wisdom teeth (2 of which were impacted) removed by Dr. Jeff Warden and I can not begin to describe what a wonderful experience I have had at MTOIS. From the friendly help I received during the first phone call, to the courteous and caring treatment during the consultation, I was very impressed with the way I was treated. I am truly a dental coward but the way they took the time to answer my questions, outline the procedure, and make sure I was fully informed really helped to ease a great deal of the anxiety I normally would have experienced. My procedure was done under IV anesthetic and lasted about an hour. I drifted off gently and the next thing I remember I was getting in the car for the ride home. I am 36 years old which is a bit later in life to have your wisdom teeth removed, and I was cautioned that I may not bounce back as quickly as those in their teens or early twenties, but my recovery process has been nothing short of absolutely amazing thus far. If you are in need of a great oral surgeon for any complicated dental procedure then I highly recommend you give Dr. Jeff Warden and the staff at Middle Tennessee Oral and Implant Surgery a call."
