"My son and I went for his consultation yesterday with Dr. Hardison in Murfreesboro. We live in Smyrna but wanted to do the consult in Murfreesboro since my son was out of school and Dr. Hardison was in Murfreesboro yesterday. What a great experience! I was so grateful that Paige made my son and I both feel very comfortable from the beginning. My son is a teenager and would never tell you he was nervous, but he was. She was so very friendly and happy to answer any and all questions we both had. Dr. Hardison was exactly what we needed. Excellent bedside manner and also willing to answer any and all questions. I feel so relieved that even before my son's procedure, we feel comfortable with what will happen. I would recommend Dr. Hardison to anyone that is looking for an excellent oral surgeon who will go above and beyond for his patients. I had never been to an Oral surgeon or had to be sedated before and they made me so comfortable. "They brought me to a room to go over some stuff and asked me to watch a video about wisdom teeth removal. Once I was sat in the chair, they did an IV, did blood pressure. Once Dr Mark Hardison was in, I was put to sleep immediately and before I knew it, I was in a wheelchair with some gauze in my mouth and ready to go home. The procedure did not take him long to do. I was in and out. I can honestly say, there is very little pain and this is my 2nd day of having my wisdom teeth out! Definitely recommend going here!"

"Dr. Hardison and his team are absolutely amazing. I was able to have my top wisdom teeth removed the same day as the consult which was so convenient. Dr. Hardison listened to my concerns, as I was nervous this time since I had a bad experience with another dentist who had done my bottom wisdom teeth removal many years ago. (I highly recommend seeing an oral surgeon for this procedure, btw.) I was also nervous about the IV sedation, but it went great. I was actually playing piano later that day because I felt good. The office even called to check on me to be sure I was doing okay. I highly recommend this practice. Thank you, Dr. Hardison and staff, for making my visit and procedure go so well."

I am in my mid 40's and petrified of any dental work. Dr. Hardison and his staff had incredible bedside manners and really made me feel comfortable. Highly recommend!"
"I am so thankful we got a referral to this practice. I just can’t tell you how fabulous Dr. Hardison and his team are. My son (7) had a bad tooth that has kept him in pain for the last few days. His regular dentist was going to make him wait 2 months to pull it. Layla, is the first person I came into contact with, I told her the issue and she got us in the same day…in 2 hours! While they are not pediatric dentists, they were all WONDERFUL with my baby boy. My son has never had any work done and I was so nervous. Layla, Leslie & Paige took such good care of him, they were rubbing his arms and legs while he was getting his laughing gas, they treated him like they were working on their own kids. When it was time to do the IV they handled it PERFECTLY. They made sure my baby was as comfortable as possible the entire time. I am so grateful for this team. They went above and beyond for us even with a packed schedule. Truly amazing staff."

"I had a consultation with this office 2 weeks ago and they were beyond kind. I immediately felt comfortable scheduling the surgery. I informed them of my passing out seeing needles and they took every measurement possible to make me comfortable. From start to finish I had a great experience! "NEW UPDATE: I was seen first thing today by Dr. Hardison. It was a night and day difference between the doctors. He compassionately listened to my problems, did a thorough exam (with gloves), had an idea as to what is causing my pain, and was willing to work with me to find a solution. I now have a plan in place and a follow up appointment scheduled to see if it's working or whether we need to try something else. I would recommend seeing Dr. Hardison if you come to Middle TN Oral & Implant Surgery. UPDATE: The office called within 30 minutes of posting my review, offering to get me in to see the original Dr. who was on my referral. I will update my review after that appointment. 10/10 to the office staff who provided exemplary customer service. I have raised my rating based on the office staff alone. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have no complaints about the office staff or the dental assistants. I was originally referred to a particular Dr. at the Smryna office, but they were unable to see me until January. I was instead scheduled for the first opening for a patient consult which happened to be in Murfreesboro with Dr. Paul Warden. He spent a total of two minutes with me, barely glanced at the scans, and was insensitive and dismissive. When I explained what was going on he decided to look in my mouth with a disposable mirror, WITHOUT GLOVES ON, from an arms length away. My problem was at the very back of my mouth, and I have a very small mouth. How could he see anything from that distance away? He then proceeded to scrape at the area with the mirror and asked if that was what I was talking about. I had no mirror to see what he was actually doing, and I was greatly concerned about having gloveless hands right next to my mouth. He completely dismissed me, my symptoms and my dentist (who I trust a great deal). It would have been one thing if he had taken the time to safely and thoroughly inspect the area in question before dismissing it as nothing (I respect the profession and would trust their opinion), but that was not the case. He spent a total of 2 minutes, was completely unprofessional, and hygienically unsafe. I left that appointment with the area in question hurting from his "exam"."
"Dr. Hardison and the entire staff were nothing short of amazing in taking care of me! I was 33 weeks pregnant when I went to have my tooth extracted. I was so incredibly nervous, but they stayed calm and comforting for me and I felt much more at ease. They even called the next day to see how I was doing because they knew I had been so nervous! I very highly recommend this practice!"
"After, two weeks of calling and trying to find someone who accepted our insurance and could see my son for his wisdom teeth they were the answer to my prayers! My son was working out of state and he was coming that weekend and they were able to work him in the next morning and also do surgery! "This is my first google review because it's an absolute MUST SHARE! The entire staff = beyond amazing! I was very scared to have a tooth extracted. The front desk was kind and knew my case before I arrived. Dr. Mark Hardison made me feel at ease during the consultation and throughout the visit. Johnnie made me feel so comfortable during the procedure. (NOT an easy task- I mean, I cried from nerves!) They called to check-up and I'm happy to report I am fully healed and rid of a monstrous pain. I know that if they treated me this good, you can expect the same! THANK YOU. I am forever grateful."

"As a repeat customer, I have had 2 extractions and 1 implant, all with sedation, by Dr. Hardison in the Smyrna office. He is very knowledgeable, compassionate, experienced, and answers all your questions to put you at ease. The staff and assistants are friendly, helpful, and efficient as well. They work to get you in as soon as possible and check on you the day following the procedure. The written/verbal instructions for after care are very clear and you can call with questions anytime. "I've always had a fear of going to the dentist, mainly from listening to everyone else's experience. My wisdom teeth had been bothering me for a while and I finally made an appointment with MTOIS. My first consultation was better than i thought it would be. The moment I was walked to the back, I was at ease. The young lady that took my Xrays was very polite and welcoming. Dr. Hardison came in to talk to me about the procedure and he was very detailed and listened to everything i said. I didn't feel rushed at all. The day of the procedure, I remember laughing and talking with the nurses and Dr. Hardison, and the next thing I know, I'm in my drive way and my husband is telling me "don't open the door, i'm coming around to open it" Lol. I followed the instructions, kept the meds in my system, slowly progressed to eating solids and i was fine. No problems at all! I have recommended this office and Dr. Hardison to my friends and family! The staff and Doctors are amazing! Thank you, MTOIS! You all are amazing!!!"
"I can’t say enough about Dr Hardison and his staff, from the front desk to the procedure room. I had a horrible experience the day before with my dentist trying to extract a tooth for an hour and not getting the tooth out. Dr Hardisons staff scheduled me for the next morning to be sedated and remove the tooth. The office staff all put me at ease from the beginning and Dr Hardison is a gem. One minute I’m talking to him while he’s starting the sedation and the next thing I remember is looking over to see the wheel chair beside the chair, and them rolling me to the car. I would recommend this office over and over! This office provides top notch patient care!"

"First of all, special thanks to Amanda for scheduling and getting me in at the last minute. She was very professional, patient and polite. I wasn't able to talk because of a prior extraction appointment at the Snodgrass King Dental Associates that didn't go well. The staff at this office is phenomenal. They are very professional and friendly at the same time. The balance is just right. Dental Assistant for Dr. Hardison was great. Very nice overall personality. Finally, Dr. Mark Hardison is very approachable and has a lot of knowledge when it comes to Oral Surgery. He was able to extract the broken root tip very quickly and explained everything in a very professional way before the surgery. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone that I know.
